And why should you care? Well, to tell you the truth, you probably wouldn't want to be buddy-buddy with Miro Kefurt. As evidence in the video above, the man appears to be somewhat of a shyster and he's had quite a colorful work history. If you dig into his background online, you'll read about a whole bunch of questionable business dealings.
But forget all of that. Why Kefurt is and will forever be worthy of your admiration is that when Fiat decided to yank all of its car out of the American market in 1982, he stepped up and continued selling brand new X1/9s under the Bertone (who produced it) nameplate out his dealership located in Hollywood, California. That went on all the way into 1990.
Maybe they weren't the greatest cars and they'd arguably seen their day by the time Kefurt picked up the baton, they still were and continue to be fabulously Italian runabouts.
