| Hello there, Prius...oh no, wait.... |
The Koreans are so very good at following in the footsteps of other car makers and here we have what looks like their Prius clone. But it's not, really. This is a mid-size 5-door hatchback that will come with three drivetrains; the hybrid, electric and plug-in hybrid, all named exactly that (or close enough). The Hybrid will get just under 60 mpg, the Electric will have a range of 110 miles and the Plug-in will have a 125 mpg-e rating.
With a fast-charger, the Electric will be able to be recharged to 80% capacity in 20 minutes.
No pricing has been released yet. Hyundai has Toyota in the cross-hairs.
