If you've never driven or been in one of these unusual SUPER HEAVY DUTY built police interceptors before, you're in for a real treat. It runs like a hot rod, will do a certified 140 miles per hour and it rides like a big Porsche 911. Rated at about 22+mpg on regular gas depending on how hard or easy you drive it. I always get at least 22mpg on this one.
Special street version Police Package with SUPER HEAVY DUTY EVERYTHING including:
H.D. suspension, 200 amp monster alternator, larger H.D. brakes, power windows, power steering, H.D. transmission with external cooler, H.D. hoses, dual exhaust, electric mirrors, AM/FM CD radio. 4.6 liter V-8 interceptor engine with no fan belts and two electric fans for cooling and ice cold Air Conditioning. Special air induction system provides additional hp. New Michelin tires on rear and good on front. Not a speck of rust anywhere on this car including under it. Just did a complete trans fluid replacement and synthetic oil change. Nearly all parts interchange on P71's from 1999 to 2011 as they are mostly identical. Detective / police chief and detective units are a rare find. Most have been used and abused but not this one.
NO MORE ROAD RAGE PROBLEMS. Now here's the really good part. You can drive the speed limit everywhere you go if you choose to do so. . . and so will everyone else. Other drivers are "always" very polite and courteous. You will never have to worry about road rage or tailgating from other drivers again. You can drive in the passing lane down any turnpike and everyone will move over to let you by. Police officers wave at you too and you, of course, wave back at them . . . and parking is not a problem anymore. Back seat passengers cannot get out unless you let them out and they can't work the windows either. Every once in a while I let a passenger out, put them up against the car, and frisk 'em just for laughs and giggles. These retired police interceptors are often used as taxis world-wide and known to go over 500,000 to 1,000,000 miles when properly maintained. They are not comparatively expensive to repair because parts are so readily available. This is a vehicle you are absolutely going to love. TALK ABOUT COMFORTABLE. We're retired and this is our family vehicle and HOT ROD FOR CRUISIN'. It is totally dependable and we love driving it. The best car you'll ever own. $5595
