Serial One, 1967 Honda N600

Check out this fantastic site documenting the restoration of the very first Honda automobile imported in the US, a 1967 N600, serial number 1000001.

    It looks like most of it was done with brand new parts. I guess that is a restorer's dream. Does anyone know the story of where the car sat for all those years? The restorer says he did not know it was "number 00001" before he started working on it. Just sheer luck that it survived?

      I've only been aware of this story peripherally. So I don't know, but I have the feeling you could dig up the answers!
