1947-2009 Cadillac Station Wagons
Many enthusiasts just assume Cadillac has been building station wagons from way back when. This is sort of true; until relatively recently, they were all coachbuilt, not factory production models. Here's a great example that was owned by Sammy Davis, Jr.

I never could understand why Cadillac gave up the station wagon option to the coach builders. The funeral business alone would probably have supported it, all these years.
ReplyDeleteI agree. And given the demographics of Cadillac owners (until fairly recently) there would have been a logical marketing link: "Cadillac Wagon - the last car you will ever own".
