Yesterday's feature was a 1988 VW Westfalia LT Sven Hedin Camper for sale on eBay. But just who was this Sven Hedin? He was a Swedish explorer and that explains the connection. Unfortunately, he was a Nazi sympathizer too, though he apparently simultaneously saved many from death and execution at their hands. So it's pretty fair to say that he was a complex dude. Find out more about him by reading the Wikipedia article. Hedin's book, "My Life as an Explorer" is a must read, too.
