Sometimes, the best ideas are the worst ideas.

How bad is this one? Pretty darn awful. The goal seems reasonable but today's drivers need less distractions and this device gives them even more. Now, their focal point won't even extend beyond the windshield. Here's a video of Navdy in action.

    Just my reaction: not a bad idea, if you removed the ability to handle phone calls and texts. Those are true distractions. Drive when you are driving. If you wanna chat, park it.

    The heads-up navigation aspect probably is a safety plus, however.
