Our pal JB is selling his beloved Go-4 - let the scramble to buy commence!
Retired traffic enforcement vehicle. This little buggy makes a great urban utility vehicle, grocery-getter or economical commuter. Registers as a motorcycle but no motorcycle endorsement or helmet are required to operate it. Insurance through Progressive cost me $80 for the year. These unique vehicles sell for over $30K new. Runs with and past regular traffic on regular roads. I have seen 30 mpg but better mileage should be possible in a less mountainous area. I have been using it as my daily driver and travel to offices in Wilkes Barre, Lehighton, East Stroudsburg, and Sparta, NJ. From here in Stroudsburg, I've taken pleasure rides to Hawks Nest in
Deer Park, NY, Sunrise Mountain in Branchville, NJ and
countless trips to Sussex and Warren Counties in NJ just for fun.

With a 4-cylinder Hyundai engine and 13 inch tires, this thing will go anywhere. Travels confidently at posted speed limits; it can and will go faster but I don't push my luck. I did, however, get it up to 75 one time to see the limits but I chickened out and backed off before it hit 80 mph. The rig has great heat and keeps you plenty warm. I have been out in single digit temps and had to remove my jacket.
Includes:
4 speaker AM/FM/CD player
Whalen dual mode amber light bar (marker/strobe modes)
Galls, PA/Multimode Siren
2 high intensity white LED work lights

Since this interceptor was in Florida, a secondary radiator and electric
fan for extreme heat conditions was installed up front by the previous
owner. New rear main seal installed in October and new front brake pads installed in November. Tires have plenty of tread and are in great shape as well. This rig has had secondary rear shocks and a steering stabilizer that
were installed by the PO and these additions definitely make the machine
much more stable on the road at higher speeds.
Minor cons:
I would change the orientation of the steering dampener, because it slightly limits the left stop a little which results in a larger minimum turning radius if you want to whip the vehicle around tightly. It doesn't affect normal driving or navigating, only extremely tight turning situations. When the fuel tank is topped off, the smell of fuel is present for a short while; I think the plastic filler tube may have a tiny crack or pinhole that cannot hold standing fuel. It works fine for regular filling but if you top off the tank to get to an even dollar on the pump, that's when it happens.

Price is $4800 firm; the more you use it, you can easily save that in fuel, tolls, parking and insurance!
What a great little runabout. Wish I was in the market!
