Driving On WHAT....?

Careful out there, people.

  1. Yep, you can't be too careful when that stuff starts to accumulate on the roads. They forgot to mention to carry plenty of washer fluid also.

  2. By the way, all joking about typos aside, it is interesting to see them telling people NOT to use four wheel drive in slippery conditions. Personally, I agree with that. 4WD/AWD will help you get moving, but when you go to brake or stop, you may discover that it is a lot slippier than the car was telling you. At that moment, you will discover that the laws of physics have not been repealed, no matter what Subaru tries to tell you...

  3. This winter sealed the deal for me. People don't understand what AWD is really good for and when it is beneficial. They believe that it is a magic pill for wintry situations. The marketing people have done a great job of pulling the wool over their eyes.

  4. For sure. I will take FWD and four good snow tires over most AWD any day. What I need in winter is predictable grip.
