Tom Tjaarda-Designed Production Cars

Some enthusiasts would be surprised to learn that the original Fiat 124 was designed by an American; Tom Tjaarda. Here are some other production cars that flowed from his imagination.

De Tomaso Longchamp

Ferrari 330 GT 2+2

De Tomaso Deauville

Fiat 2300

Laforza

De Tomaso Pantera

Qvale Mangusta

Some of these vehicles were sold under other brand names, such as Iso and Pinifarina, but which one is your favorite?

  2. There's just something so 80s about that Longchamp that appeals to me.

  3. Make mine the Ferrari, though I like that Qvale Mangusta top. The original Mangusta was such a bad car. Beautiful but awful to drive and even worse to own.

  4. I did not know that he did the Fiat 124. Undoubtedly his greatest lasting legacy. I was truly surprised to see the Ferrari 330 on the list. That would be my choice. Overall, what an impact Tom has had.
