Market Watch: 2010 Taurus SHO

Where are we at with the beginning of the fourth generation SHO, market-wise...?

Can you dig it...can...you...dig...it...

An AWD family sedan with 365 twin-turbo V6 horses that sprints from 0-60 in 5.8 seconds? We can dig it. Add the desirable Performance Package and the current KBB (Good condition, Private Party) is just around $13.5K. A steal of a deal!

Trouble areas are few and most were covered by copious Ford technical service bulletins. Tire wear caused by the considerable 4368 pounds does not seem to be an issue. Owners don't seem to be experiencing any particular problems. Complaints seem to center around a smallish interior, a desire for even better braking and subdued styling.

Could this be one of the best, most reliable American family performance sedans in a long time (we didn't forget you, G8!)? Maybe so. Buy one and let us know. In the meantime, we're interested...when the values drop below $10K, then sign us up!

  1. Funny. I'd completely forgotten about the SHO. Maybe that was the problem and explains why they didn't sell like hotcakes.
