The interior is in like-new condition with lots of neat options. Power amenities, bench seat armrests, a clinometer, and dual zone A/C controls for both front and rear are just a few. The middle seats can be adjusted for limo-style seating, and plenty of cargo space is available when combined with folding rear seats. Furthermore, all the seats can be folded into one large bed. Panels and trim are present, and are showing minimal wear. The carpet has no stains or fading. and the dash is free of cracks. The seats have been well maintained and are very comfortable. The side windows also slide open, and also equipped with sliding curtains.

Overall a very capable vehicle that's ready for whatever adventure comes next.Mechanically the Delica is ready for whatever comes its way. The 4D56T 2.5L turbo diesel is known for being rugged and reliable. The engine was used in the Pajero which conquered the Dakar Rally to become the most successful vehicle in the Rally's history. The 5 speed manual transmission and 4X4 function correctly and are very capable of navigating troublesome terrain. The A/C blows cold and all power equipment is in perfect working order.

Overall it's a very capable vehicle that's ready for whatever adventure comes next.
This 1991 Mitsubishi Delica Chamonix is a very unique vehicle. The 4WD version offers firm and powerful ride, as well added versatility. This particular van is in spectacular shape both inside and out. The exterior is free of scratches and dents, complete with original two-tone paint that shines very nicely. This is a one owner van that has been well taken care of by its previous owner in Japan- with full service history to support it. The front push bar, spare tire, and ladder steps provide functionality and a very unique look. Also, fog lights and plenty of mirrors assist with visibility.

  1. Well that is quite a package. It looks like you could use it for everything from trekking to airport limo service. Also fabulous condition.

I have no idea what these are worth, but the asking price is a fair pile of dollars (and an even bigger pile of $Cdn, sigh....).

  2. I want this. Badly. It's up on eBay too, with lots of additional pictures.

There appears to be plenty for sale up in Canada for less money. Hmm.

  3. Good catch, Tom. Bonsai has some awesome vehicles. Might be worth getting one of their cars imported to the States.

  4. Oh and yeah, I agree that the one in Philadelphia is too pricey.

  5. I distinctly remember driving around in a JDM Honda and the fanboys nearly killing themselves trying to get a look at it. U-turns on the highway were common. Unnerving.

Neat little van, though. Remember the similarly laid out Toyota vans you used to drive all the time, K2?
