If you don't recall the Ford Maverick station wagon, that's because it didn't exist anywhere else other than in Brazil, where it was coachbuilt. That's too bad, because it's rather nice looking in a so-70s sort of way.
Well, waddayaknow? Nice unicorn find. Looks like that would have been an excellently useful vehicle. I had never thought about how odd it was that Ford had a Falcon wagon, and then a Pinto wagon, but skipped right over the Maverick. Just imagine using the Mustang Performance Catalog to make a wagon version of something like this:

Man, why didn't we get this? This would have been a neat wagon back in the day, esp with the V8.
