    Were there any 928 wagon conversions? That would seem to make the most sense, given the cost.

      Great question, JJ! The only one that I'm aware of (that isn't just a backyard hackjob), is the Study H50 concept from Porsche. It went nowhere and wasn't particularly well conceived, in my opinion.
