1968-1986 Ford Belina
The Brazilian Ford Corcel (and related Del Rey) enjoyed two generations and it included a long roof variant called the Belina. It was basically a Renault 12 underneath, with Renault and Ford engine options. Here's some neat trivia for you; the Corcel was the first car in Brazil to enjoy a recall due to quality issues.

I was not aware of the Ford tie-in with Renault. Huh! Frankly, I was really struggling to spot any vestigial R-12 content. These look really Ford-ish, consistent with the world-wide Ford branding of that era. Once again, thanks K2.
ReplyDeletep.s. that is frickin' Ayrton Senna in that cover photo. I remember his Honda connections, but I do not remember him being linked to Ford, beyond his early championships in Formula Ford.
