The crazily capitalized ad copy reads, "This is a Factory Built Car. This is Not a Kit Car. Hand Built in California by Pacific Coachworks. 100 Were Slated For Production. One Report Says Only 7 Were Produced. This is DiNapoli Unit #5. No Expense Spared During Manufacturing. Price in February 1980 - $70,000 to $75,000. In Perspective - 4 Bedroom House That Same Year - $60K. Mechanically Very Sound. Strong Engine ,Equipped With a Buick V6 Turbo. Similar to the Gran National. Built Around a Turbocharged Buick Regal, Retaining The Original Buick Driveline. Showing Little Over 8000 Miles.
Fast !.. Fun To Drive. Tight. Good Power, Shifts Well, Good Brakes. Interior Is Very Nice. There Is One Bad Spot On The Driver's Seat Bolster. She's Equipped With Power Seats. Power Windows. Power Locks. Electric Sunroof. A Beautiful Teak Wooden Dash and Center Console. Leather Recaro Seats With Built in Speakers in The Headrests. Spacious Room in The Back. The Spare Tires on The Side of The Car Are Not Simulators. They Are Real Spare Wheels ! The Exterior Has Two Beautiful Wood Stringer Running Boards on Both Driver and Passenger Side. Good Tires. Twin Chrome Head Lights. Beautiful Door Lines. Engine Compartment Has First Aid and Tool Kit Equipped. Paint is Original. Therefore, IF You're Showing The Car Or Using It For Weddings etc..I Would Suggest New Paint. Up Close There Are Obvious Flaws in The Original Paint. Still A Beautiful Car. Overall It Has Few Needs Here and There. Minor Mechanical Tweaks. ie: Heater Core. etc. Nothing That'll Break The Bank.
This DiNapoli Was Originally Registered With an Advertising Firm in Los Angeles Just Outside of Hollywood Until 2005. Where it's Been in Georgia to Date. Have All The Book And Records On The Car Since New. This Car is Perfect For Use in in The Entertainment World, Promotions, Etc. Very Unique Automobile That Obviously Gets People's Attention in a Hurry, Gorgeous Curb Appeal. Where Can You Buy a Low Production Neo Classic For This Price?"
I couldn't find much about the company at the time (late 70s and early 80s) but Pacific Coachworks is located in Southern California and manufacturers RVs these days. If you run across more information about the DiNapoli (some sources write it as Di Napoli), please let me know.
