Too bad that the Wartburg body design lost so much flair over the years. I saw the same sad progression in the Tatras. Someone brought a 1970s Tatra 613 to one of our Citroen gatherings. It was such a disappointment after the gorgeous 601 and 603 models. Still a technical marvel, but wrapped up in mediocrity from the outside.
